The introductory tutorial from the original Dissidia Final Fantasy features several easy battles for the player to fight in order for the player to learn the action-fighting aspects of the game. The Warrior of Light is controlled. This tutorial is accessed only once in the game: after the player chooses to start a new game. Upon completion, the player will have access to the main menu for the first time.
In the Western and Universal Tuning releases, this serves as the tutorial for the action-fighting aspects of the game whilst the Prologue serves as the tutorial for the story mode aspects of the game. In the original Japanese release, the Prologue combined both these aspects in a single tutorial.
